Undecided Engineering Option
Not
sure about what type of engineer you want to be?
Alfred University offers a first-year undecided option for engineering students who want a little more time to decide. All of the engineering majors share a common curriculum in the first semester, which includes Calculus I, General Chemistry I, Introduction to Engineering, Computer-aided Design, and an elective. In the second semester, undecided students enroll in Calculus II, General Chemistry II, General Physics I, Computer-aided Engineering, and two Engineering Exploration laboratories. By providing hands-on experiences related to different engineering majors, the Engineering Exploration labs are designed to help students select an engineering major.
